AbstractHypertrophic cardiomyopathy is the most common genetic cardiovascular disorder and the leading cause of sudden cardiac death in the young. This article reviews the ventricular arrhythmias associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the difficulties in risk stratification, and current and future therapeutic strategies.
