AbstractChemosis--conjunctival edema--occurs frequently after direct surgical or accidental trauma. In most cases, it resolves spontaneously. We report three patients with a spectrum of persistent chemosis after lower blepharoplasty. Etiologic factors are presented, and the management is reviewed.
