AbstractIndications for bilateral adrenalectomy are rarely present in patients with Cushing's syndrome. The laparoscopic approach to adrenalectomy provides a postoperative course that compares favorably with that of open adrenalectomy, and the hand-assisted technique may provide an additional alternative to the open approach in performing bilateral adrenalectomy.
