AbstractArachnoid cysts are developmental lesions which are usually asymptomatic or may present with a variety of clinical features. Subdural hygroma is an extremely unusual complication associated with arachnoid cysts. A case of subdural hygroma that developed after the rupture of an asymptomatic middle cranial fossa cyst, following minor head injury is reported.
