AbstractThe current S2k guidelines on treatment of thermal injuries in adults are summarized in this article from the perspective of anesthesiology, emergency medicine and intensive care medicine. The guidelines were prepared under the auspices of the German Society for Burn Medicine with the participation of other professional societies and interest groups and were published last year in revised form by the AWMF.© 2022.
