    AbstractEARLY DIAGNOSIS: The Budd-Chiari syndrome results from an obstruction of the suprahepatic venous drainage. The condition spontaneously evolves towards liver fibrosis and death. Early diagnosis is thus of prime importance to initiate adapted treatment promptly.
