AbstractKIDNEY DISEASE AND HYPERTENSION: Hypertension is increasingly associated to renal insufficiency leading to end stage renal damage (ESRD), through several mechanisms involving renal vasculature. Ten to 25% of new ESRD patients are now categorized as hypertensive nephropathy and vascular renal disease.
