AbstractFacial nerve palsy causes disfigurement with cosmetic, functional and psychological repercussions. The facial nerve can be affected anywhere along its course. A comprehensive assessment considering all differential diagnoses is critical to optimal management, as prompt, appropriate therapy leads to better outcomes.
