    AbstractLow back pain is the leading symptom of a family of inflammatory rheumatic diseases grouped under the umbrella term "spondyloarthritides". This paper discusses the main clinical, laboratory, and imaging features of spondyloarthritides in the diagnostic context of low back pain.
