AbstractThe calcaneus pseudoathrosis is rarely seen in clinical workday and we couldn't find any case be reported. In two cases the authors present the diagnosis and therapy of a non-union after a calcaneus fracture. The authors point especially at anatomical characteristics and biomechanical reasons and their meaning for aetiology of pseudoathrosis after a calcaneus fracture.
