AbstractMost clinicians find research ethics and governance difficult and time consuming. This study aimed to develop a better local review process for low-risk research. We used real-time processing, leveraged local expertise and streamlined paperwork. As a result, turnaround times decreased from more than 80 days to 10 days, creating an efficient review process for low-risk projects.© 2022 Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
