    AbstractClinicians and institutions must recognise the unique set of considerations required by breastfeeding patients, a small but vulnerable cohort of patients. Modification of existing perioperative pathways, diligent prescribing and multidisciplinary involvement can facilitate safe and patient-centred perioperative care.
