AbstractThe authors consider the dependence of changes in the temporomandibular joint on the disease duration, analyze the relations between the clinical pattern of myofascial pain dysfunction syndrome (MPDS) and electromyographic changes in the masticatory muscles. Changes in the temporomandibular joint seemed to be of little importance for MPDS severity.
