AbstractA 52-year-old man was referred to our hospital with an abnormal chest radiography infiltrate. He presented with cough that persisted for 1 month without fever, chills, dyspnea, or sputum. He has been treated with clarithromycin 400 mg/d for 1 week with no improvement. He had a history of hypertension, hyperuricemia, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. He had no family history of respiratory disease. He smoked 10 cigarettes daily for 10 years, which he had quit 15 years ago. He denied a history of alcohol or illicit drug use, occupational exposure, recent travel, and exposure to TB. He reported being sexually active with one current partner.Copyright © 2022 American College of Chest Physicians. Published by Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
