AbstractThe transition to El Niño during 2023 will result in a sharp rise in global heating, increasing the likelihood of breaking temperature records. Travellers are at increasing risk of heat-related illnesses (HRI) and should be prepared with advice about HRI prevention, recognition of early signs and first aid management.
