AbstractResearch studies generate data in various forms. Data can be quantitative or qualitative. Research involving human subjects requires protection of data to ensure privacy. Various regulations and local policies need to be followed to ensure data security. Data management plans are critical for effective data stewardship and include details plan on data collection, management, storage, and formatting.
