AbstractThe immediate and long-term success of endovascular and surgical revascularization crucially depends on the conservative treatment of the PAD. The "gentle, preserving" treatment should be understood as he absolutely basic therapy for every PAD patient, because conservative treatment adresses the "big five" of atherosclerotic risk factors.
