AbstractPoint-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) use has grown rapidly in the field of pediatric emergency medicine (PEM). Despite its growth, there continues to be a need for leaders in PEM POCUS to support ongoing education and advancement of providers within this field. We have developed a novel combined PEM POCUS fellowship that has successfully produced one graduate and a second will graduate in June 2023. We describe the implementation of this model as a potential option that institutions could use as a framework to support other trainees. This could alleviate some barriers for future trainees who seek advanced POCUS training and advance this growing field.Copyright © 2024 Wolters Kluwer Health, Inc. All rights reserved.
