BackgroundVirtual Angioscopy (VA) has been used for vessel investigation and treatment planning in fields such as vascular surgery. To our knowledge, the utilization of VA in neurointerventional cases has not been demonstrated.Methods2 cases of dural arteriovenous fistula (dAVF) where virtual angioscopy was utilized were reviewed.Results2 cases of dAVF are reported where virtual angioscopic images were derived from 3D volume rendered (VR) images. The endoluminal visualization of the fistula served as additional tool that helped anatomic understanding and treatment planning.ConclusionThese cases demonstrate the utility of VA in endoluminal visualization of dural arteriovenous fistula that may aid in treatment planning considerations.Copyright © 2024.
