AbstractThe "Deutsche Medizinische Wochenschrift" (DMW) is one of the oldest and most respected medical journals in Germany. Since its foundation in 1875, it has played a central role in the dissemination of medical research and practice. Its significance for geriatrics is far-reaching. The DMW has not only contributed to the dissemination of new research findings and treatment methods, but has also promoted the development and recognition of geriatrics as an independent medical specialty.Thieme.
