    [The use of zirconium for implants in traumatology and orthopedics].

    AbstractThe use of new promising materials for implanting elements in traumatology and orthopedics is under discussion in the paper. Steel pins coated with zirconium do not cause any inflammatory complications when applied. The initial results of using the zirconium-coated implants offer the challenge for using such devices in future.
