    AbstractThe FDA recommends avoiding codeine in children after tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy for obstructive sleep apnea, due to the risk of respiratory depression. Also, changes to acetaminophen concentrations and dosages for children may help reduce the risk of unintentional overdoses.
