    AbstractJersey Hospice Care, established in 1982, provides a care and support service for the community. The service includes provision of palliative care, focusing on pain assessment and control. Mainly a home-care service, it is supported by a day hospice, lymphoedema service, the provision of complementary therapies, a six-bed in-patient unit and a bereavement service.
