AbstractThe most confusing point in management of the patients with failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS) is that the presence of FBSS is judged not by the objective symptom such as neurological deficit evaluated by medical staff but by the subjective symptom including feeling of pain, disability and satisfaction on medical treatment. In this paper, diagnosis, cause and prevention of FBSS are summarized.
