AbstractPheochromocytoma usually presents with hypertension but it may also be an unusual aetiology of cardiogenic shock in order to catecholamine induced myocardial dysfunction. We report the devastating course of a patient with tako-tsubo like apical cardiomyopathy during pheocytoma crisis who presented with classical transient left ventricular apical ballooning 6 months before.
