AbstractTriggering of extensor pollicis longus (EPL) tendon is an uncommon phenomenon with a few reports in the previous literature. Because of its rarity, the recommendations for management are sparse. We report a case of triggering EPL tendon secondary to the tendon nodule in a 42-year-old woman treated with the surgical decompression. The intraoperative findings, surgical technique and outcome of this case are described.
