AbstractA 62 year-old patient was admitted to hospital with rapid progressive edema, low potassium and hypertension. This symptoms are caused by Cushing's syndrome through ectopic paraneoplastic ACTH-production. Primary neoplasm is a small cell cancer. A Sertoli-cell-tumor of the testis was diagnosed as an additional carcinoma. Palliative chemotherapy and adrenostatic agents did not improve the clinical findings and the patient died eight weeks after admission.
