    AbstractRecent advances in the diagnosis, management and prognosis of hypertension in pregnancy are discussed, with emphasis on antihypertensive drug treatment. The use of diuretics, alpha-methyldopa, clonidine, hydrallazine, beta-adrenergic blockers, diazoxide, chlormethiazole, diazepam and heparin is given special attention.
