    AbstractNurses caring for children in an acute care setting may be faced with a pediatric emergency. Being prepared is essential. This article describes the development of a program that gives nurses the opportunity to transfer their knowledge and skill into practice. Nurses who participate in this program report feeling more confident to provide lifesaving measures.
