    AbstractDo labor medications affect breastfeeding? Few studies examine breastfeeding as an outcome of labor medication. While parents may be told that labor medications and epidurals have no effect on newborns, the literature reports significant neurobehavioral effects of these medications on the newborn and the mother-infant relationship.
