AbstractThe technique of immediate exposed skin grafting following early tangential excision of burns in children overcomes the difficulties of applying dressings with the attendant risk of graft loss from shearing forces. We report on 36 patients treated by this method. Wound healing was achieved in all patients without the need for further surgery.
