Abstractvon Willebrand's disease is one of the most common inherited bleeding disorders. Inherited and acquired disorders of coagulation and hemostasis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of menorrhagia and abnormal uterine bleeding. This Committee Opinion provides screening recommendations for von Willebrand's disease and describes treatment options.
