AbstractHypoglossal nerve paralysis is a rare complication of endotracheal intubation for general anesthesia. Anesthesiologists should be aware of the possible causes and should take extreme care to prevent nerve injuries and other complications. We present a case of postoperative unilateral hypoglossal nerve palsy after general anesthesia for laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
