AbstractElectromanometric blood pressure measurements are routine in critically ill patients, and many interventions are based on correct measurements. We report a mini-epidemic of erroneous central venous pressure measurements due to faulty pressure transducer manufacturing resulting in wrong therapeutic decisions.
