AbstractDemographic development leads to an exponential increase of cardiovascular illness. Additionally, technical development of conservative and invasive treatment modalities adds to an increase of specified therapy. Both items lead to increased specialization and a new orientation of vascular specialties. This concept implies that specific contents are referred and contained to the partner specialties. Angiology, vascular surgery and radiology are primary partners in this concept, however, in the following article the focus lies on vascular surgery and radiology.
