AbstractSome problems of the regional anesthesia are discussed in the first part of the paper: the kind and the length of the needles, the anesthetic substances used, the retrobulbar and parabulbar technique, the complications. In the second part of the paper the effects of the drugs used in general anesthesia on the intraocular pressure and the possibilities of preventing and treating the oculocardiac reflex are show.
