AbstractAll health care institutions must provide an effective resuscitation service. In order to do so it is vital they ensure not only that the recommended resuscitation equipment is available, but also that staff are trained in appropriate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques. This article provides an overview of the new recommendations for resuscitation services.
