AbstractWe describe the management of anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy to reduce the risk of hematoma on removal of an epidural catheter. The situation arose following major vascular surgery complicated by an acute myocardial infarction that required anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy following implantation of a coronary stent.
