AbstractWe report on a cluster of relapsing vivax malaria among Eritrean refugees residing in Israel. Since the beginning of 2010, 15 cases have been identified. Five of the six patients who had complete medical and epidemiological histories, reported Sudan as the place of primary infection during their journey to Israel, and having had the first relapse in Israel, six months later (median). Suggested place of exposure is the region of the Eritrean refugee camps in Sudan.
