AbstractSudan has huge health and development needs, and nurses are volunteering to help. The 22-year war has created millions of internally displaced people, many living in camps. Local people are being trained to manage healthcare needs. HIV/AIDS is expected to increase as refugees return home. Permanent and mobile clinics have been established.
