AbstractMany different pathologies affect the hip joint at all ages. Plain radiography remains the most useful imaging technique in the diagnosis of hip problems. However, several other techniques, such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound and radionucleotide imaging, are now available for dealing with different problems.
