    AbstractSpontaneous spinal epidural hematomas are uncommon. Progressive neurologic deficits that are associated with epidural hematomas can develop rapidly and require prompt treatment. We present a case of spontaneous epidural hematoma of the thoracic spine that complicated a term pregnancy.
