AbstractA case of unusual foreign body impaction of 6 years' duration is reported. The foreign body was retained in the right infraorbital region, extending to the ethmoid sinus. The importance of careful history taking and clinical examination and the problems encountered in evaluation of relatively radiolucent foreign bodies with magnetic resonance imaging are discussed.
