AbstractThe development of a fistula between the aorta and the oesophagus after graft replacement of the thoracic aorta is extremely rare. We report a case which occurred 3 years and 7 months after repair of an aneurysm of the descending thoracic aorta and review the previous reports of this uniformly fatal condition.
