    AbstractMalignant hyperthermia is a rare but potentially fatal metabolic syndrome triggered in susceptible patients by certain inhalational anesthetics and depolarizing muscle relaxants. Vigilant monitoring and quick intervention are essential in preventing organ damage and death.
