    AbstractWe describe the patient at whom sudden cardiac arrest was the first symptom of coronary heart disease. In the paper, we describe factors which influence the effectiveness of resuscitation in out of hospital cardiac arrest. Applying the cardiac massage by a bystander, the presence of defibrillation rhythm and short period of time to the first defibrillation, determined the survival of the patient.
