AbstractBronchotracheal, adenoid, cystic carcinoma is a very rare tumor. Most of its symptoms relate to airway obstruction. We report a 45-year-old woman with a carinal, adenoid, cystic carcinoma who presented with symptoms suggestive of bronchial asthma 2 years prior to diagnosis. No inspiratory flow-volume curve was performed at that time and the patient was treated with inhalation of beta-2 agonists. Early diagnosis of adenoid, cystic carcinoma is important because appropriate surgical treatment results in an excellent prognosis.
