ImplicationsSmall dose lidocaine spinal anesthesia and 3% 2-chloroprocaine epidural anesthesia provided comparable discharge times for outpatient knee arthroscopy. The incidence of transient neurologic symptoms with small-dose lidocaine spinal anesthesia was 12%.
