AbstractResistant hypertension and paroxystic hemodynamic changes are common features in patients on regular hemodialysis. We describe a hemodialyzed patient who developed malignant hypertension. The finding of elevated plasma catecholamines suggested the diagnosis of pheochromocytoma, which was confirmed by surgical removal of the tumor.
