[Experiences with Sarmiento's functional therapy of Colles' fractures].

AbstractThe article reports on the functional treatment of intra-articular comminuted fractures of the distal end of the radius (Colles' fracture). The results of the method described by Sarmiento, which is based on flexion of the elbow joint by 90 degrees and supination of the forearm, are satisfactory both from the functional and the anatomical points of view.
